It's that time again! Make sure visitors to your park are in good hands when they use your pools, water parks, or other aquatic centers. Register now for the upcoming in-water portion required for the LGI update and ensure your instructors have received the proper training and are qualified to train your park professionals.

Why Get Certified

So if you don't already know all the reasons it is vital to have someone that is LGI certified at your park, we're here to tell you why it's important.

In order for your park department to teach any type of life guarding course, someone at your park department/organization MUST be LGI certified. This being said, if your park has any type of aquatic center, pool, or splash pad, it's necessary that you have a life guard on staff who knows how to react in a state of emergency.

It is important to make sure one of your employees is LGI certified so they can continue to train a knowledgeable life guarding staff.
