ARC Lifeguard Instructor Recertification In-Water Review Course

Attention all American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructors or those overseeing LGI’s: In partnership with Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation, we will be hosting the in-water portion for the required LGI update.

To maintain a Life guarding Instructor and/or Instructor Trainer certification, all instructors must complete the free online update prior to July 31, 2017 . Upon successful completion of this update, Life guarding Instructors/Instructor Trainers will receive an extension on their Instructor and/or Instructor Trainer certification for one year. During this one year certification period, Instructors and Instructor Trainers must attend and successfully complete the in-person Lifeguarding Instructor/Instructor Trainer Review course.
