Tell us a little about your corporation/organization.

Kidstuff Playsystems was founded 41 years ago in Gary, Indiana by Richard Hagelberg, operator of childcare centers and George McGuan, a journeyman carpenter and job superintendent. The goal was to build high quality playground equipment for schools and parks. Originally playgrounds were wood and metal. Shortly afterward the transition began to steel and plastic. Kidstuff was one of 8 founding members of the International Play Equipment Manufacturer's Association (IPEMA) and has been IPEMA-certified to ASTM F-1487 since 2004.
