To honor the contributions and legacy of John Lester, the Indiana Parks and Recreation Foundation has established the John M. Lester Scholarship Fund.
Mr. John Martin Lester, of Franklin Indiana, passed away in August of 2019. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation from Indiana University and then graduated from IUPUI with a Master's in Public Administration.
