At the Indiana Park and Recreation Association, we believe it's imperative that our members get to know the staff and interns that works to provide you with the best experience possible! Kaleigh comes from Fortville and works mainly with the Membership and Events Coordinator to plan events, contact donor and vendors, and provide our members with unique experiences that help support IPRA. How has your experience at IPRA contributed to your professional or personal interests?
IRPA has given me an amazing experience professionally and personally. I have always had an interest in non-profit organizations and now it’s only growing stronger. I can finally learn hands on from people who are so passionate about their organization. I am so grateful for IRPA and the incredible opportunity they have gave me.
What parks have you visited in Indiana?
I love the parks that are in my hometown! Beckenholdt park is my personal favorite, but Riley Park holds a lot of childhood memories! I have also visited Tukey Run and it was absolutely gorgeous!
What is your favorite park memory or experience?
My favorite park memory has to be when my sister and I took our 6-month year old puppies to Turkey Run! We hiked on the trails and the dogs had so much fun exploring. Eating lunch and playing in the water by the sand area was the best part!
