Artesian Little League will be hosting a “Sports Turf Magic Education” Field Day on Friday, September 29th at Lester Field at 425 West Douglas in Martinsville, Indiana beginning with registration at 8:00 AM and ending around 1:00 PM.

What is Sports Turf Magic Education?

M.A.S.A., Pro’s Choice, and Bannerman will be demonstrating equipment and conducting on-field seminars dealing with the application of conditioners, maintaining the skinned portion of a ball field including dragging and edging, aeration of turf areas and accessory care and maintenance. Tom Nielsen, head groundskeeper for the Louisville Bats will discuss proper maintenance of the pitching mound and home plate area.
