Tell us a little about your corporation/organization. Recreation Unlimited is a family owned and operated business based out of Noblesville, Indiana with a passion for serving our community, especially our youngest friends. Children are at the heart of our business and we strive to provide them with unique play areas that inspire growing minds and bodies. As professionals in the commercial playground industry for over 25 years, we love inspiring active lifestyles from a young age. We offer a great selection of commercial playground equipment, site amenities, athletic equipment, safety surfacing, shade shelters, and even dog parks. Our products and services are designed to fit a wide range of applications and budgets.

How does your corporation/organization impact parks and recreation? As a family-owned company located in central Indiana, we have a deep appreciation for our diverse community. Parks are central to community development as places for people to gather, and they encourage healthy lifestyles for children and adults of all ages. We enjoy building relationships with our clients (park professionals, in many cases) so that together we can design unique solutions that meet the needs of our community.

Why do you choose to be a member of the Indiana Park and Recreation Association? How long have you been a member? Recreation Unlimited has been a member of IPRA for several years and we will continue our membership for years to come. Being able to partner with an organization such as IPRA is beneficial because it allows us to reach park professionals throughout the state. It also helps those same professionals the ability to find our company and what we can offer.

How has your experience with IPRA benefited your corporation/organization? What are some of the most rewarding aspects of your membership? Partnering with IPRA has provided us with opportunities to meet and network with decision-makers from many different park districts throughout the state. This allows us to introduce ourselves and open a dialogue about future projects. Yet at the end of the day, it all comes back to the impact we’re honored to have on our community - especially the youngest members. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a child smile and laugh with their friends as they play on a newly installed playground.
