What's Next... Scrap Wood Paddles

What does one do with leftover scrap wood? As nicer days approach, it is time to start preparing for our outdoor adventures! So the perfect thing to do is take all your left over scrap wood and reuse that to create paddles for another big adventure.


Cross Country Skiing

The Big River Adventure - August 19-27, 2022

Through this great partnership, Layne canoed down the White River, from Waverly Park to the river’s terminus at Mt. Carmel, Illinois—214 miles in 8 days.

In the video below, Layne paddled a short stretch of the White River from Fishers to Carmel with stops at Conner Prairie and Carmel Clay Parks. Check out the waterway’s beauty and the present and future amenities at Conner Prairie and Carmel Clay Parks along the route.
