Maple Syrup Operations & Programming

This program will showcase the entire maple syrup operation at Southeastway Park. This Indy Parks facility has their own maple syrup collection system set up throughout the numerous on-site maple trees. They cover the entire process from tapping trees to bottling fresh syrup. In addition to completing the entire syrup process in-house, they also offer outdoor educational programming for the community on this topic.

1:30 pm - 2:30 pm - Tour of Maple Syrup Operations
2:30 pm - 3:00 pm - Conclusion & Taste Test Maple Syrup
Please dress appropriately for the weather. The program will be outside for approximately 1 hour and will cover wooded park areas with trails. There is a potential for snow and ice on the ground.
