There are practices we have done because “We have always done them this way.” However, what if we take a step back to really understand why we are doing what it is we are doing? We believe there are important opportunities for park systems to take advantage of in terms of financing, revenue generation, and moving toward a more sustainable system in general and we want to discuss them.
This session will explore management philosophies and mechanisms in which park agencies can plan operations, maintenance, and programming to increase revenue generation and overall departmental sustainability. Come to this session prepared to dive into the specifics of operating a sustainable system.
