Be Aware: Scam Alert IPRA Conference Housing

Stopsign

We have been made aware of at least one housing company contacting IPRA members offering to book your guest rooms at significant discounts. Reservations made through these “pirate” agencies or companies should be avoided as many of them are scams that will charge your card, but you will not have a reservation when you arrive. Please be vigilant if approached by any company or service that implies or claims to be an official housing provider of the IPRA Conference and Expo.

The only legitimate way to secure reservations at our discounted rate is by using either the link that we will provide to make reservations on the Hilton website or by calling Hilton reservations and indicating that you are will the Indiana Park & Recreation Association. Reservations for the official room block will open in September and you will be notified by IPRA via email.

If you are contacted by anyone who says they are working on behalf of IPRA, please get their company information/phone number and notify us immediately at lnye@inpra.org.
